Your State RulesFAQs

4. I downloaded my completed Federal Post Card Application (FPCA), how do I find it?

If you choose the option to download your completed Federal Post Card Application (FPCA), it will be sent as a file to your computer or phone, along with a second file with a personalized Instruction Sheet. This is the only copy of your form, VoteFromAbroad doesn’t keep a copy.

The file with your form will be named: FPCA-FirstName-LastName (for example, FPCA-Jane-Doe). And the file with the Instructions is named: Instructions-FirstName-LastName

If you can’t locate the files after downloading, use your computer's search function to look for a "downloads" folder.

If you’re using an Android device, everything you download is saved in the Downloads folder on your device. To access the files:

  • Open the file manager app ("Files" or "My Files")

  • Tap the hamburger icon

  • Select "Downloads"

For iPhones and iPads, check your apps for a “Files” folder. Select the document, tap the external link icon, then select from the options. For more information, see:
