10. Can I fix or "cure" a problem with my ballot?


Many states allow ballots with missing or inconsistent signatures to be “cured” and counted, but the deadlines are tight! 

If there's a problem with your ballot that is "curable," your election office must notify you and provide a form that allows you to fix the problem. The states listed below will notify you by email, text, or phone call (if they have your information on file). And you can return the form, with any required documents, by email or other electronic means:
