Your State RulesFAQs

5. I received my ballot but I'm having trouble printing it.

Ballots are typically sized to print out using US-sized paper. However, you may use whatever size paper is available to you. The printed ballot must be legible so that the election office can determine how you intended to vote.

If you are printing to non-US sized paper, then to make it fit to your paper size, you can download the ballot as a PDF, then print using the "Scale to fit" option. Or print at 94% reduction.

If you have a very long ballot that won't fit on 1 sheet of paper, you can print it on more than one sheet. Unless your ballot instructions state otherwise, it's best to print on separate sheets of paper rather than using the front and back of the same sheet.
